This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for ShotMock Pro subscriptions purchased through shotmock.com.
Payment Processing
All payments for ShotMock Pro subscriptions are processed by LemonSqueezy, which acts as our Merchant of Record. LemonSqueezy handles all billing, invoicing, tax collection, and refund processing on our behalf. When you purchase a subscription, your payment relationship is with LemonSqueezy.
14-Day Refund Right
In accordance with EU consumer protection regulations, you are entitled to a 14-day refund period from the date of your initial subscription purchase. During this period, you may request a full refund for any reason, no questions asked.
This 14-day right applies to:
- New Pro subscription purchases (monthly or annual).
- First-time upgrades from the free plan to a Pro plan.
This refund right does not apply to:
- Subscription renewals (monthly or annual auto-renewals).
- Subscriptions that have been actively used to export assets beyond the free tier limits, where technically feasible to determine.
How to Request a Refund
You can request a refund through either of the following methods:
Option 1: Contact Us Directly
Send an email to [email protected] with the following information:
- Your account email address
- Date of purchase
- Reason for the refund request (optional, but helps us improve)
Option 2: Contact LemonSqueezy
You can also request a refund directly through LemonSqueezy by:
- Visiting the LemonSqueezy customer portal using the link in your purchase confirmation email.
- Contacting LemonSqueezy support through their website.
Refund Process and Timeline
Once your refund request is received and approved:
- Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your request within 2 business days.
- Processing: Refunds are processed by LemonSqueezy within 5-10 business days of approval.
- Credit: The refund will be credited to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
After a Refund
Once a refund is processed:
- Your Pro subscription will be cancelled, and your account will revert to the free plan.
- You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
- Your content (screenshots, designs, metadata) will not be deleted. However, content exceeding free plan limits may become inaccessible until you upgrade again.
Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of:
- Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated purchase-and-refund cycles).
- Accounts terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
